The short answer? I wanted to build things, not just talk about them. In banking, I'd see these amazing small businesses with terrible websites (or no websites at all) and think 'I could fix that.' Eventually, I stopped thinking and started doing. Best decision I ever made.

Not at all! I work with all sorts of small businesses. But I do have a soft spot for trades - maybe it's because they fix real problems for real people, which is exactly what I try to do with websites. Plus, tradies appreciate things that just work, no nonsense. My kind of people.

Perfect! Most of my clients aren't. If you can send an email, we can work together. I explain everything in normal language, no tech speak unless you specifically ask for it. Your job is to know your business - my job is to translate that into a website that works.

Absolutely. While I'm based in Dalkeith and love working with local Midlothian businesses, I work with clients all over Scotland and the UK. Video calls work just as well as coffee meetings (though I do miss the coffee).
